Help carry the message via the Intergroup Hotline
The intergroup hotline receives calls from Western Maryland. Because we have a toll-free number we sometimes get calls from people out of the area. Most callers want meeting information, though these calls can also be a chance to provide more basic info about AA or to connect callers with twelfth step help in their area.
All you need is a working phone and internet access or a current Where and When. It's recommended that you have at least a year of sobriety and understand the 12 Steps of AA.
Hotline volunteers can help by answering phones as well as being available to make 12th step calls in their area and help with information about meetings and events near them.
